Slipperfields is a welcome retreat for private functions or corporates looking for an interesting, original and authentic destination to host their event.
Our full service venue can cater to your every need; from special occasions, glitzy product launches, to staff or client engagement getaways, team-building gatherings and end-of-year functions, we provide professionalism and support to make your event run smoothly.
CELEBRATIONS & EVENTS
We can cater to your every need for every occasion from weddings to birthday parties,
showers, christenings, private dinners and any other special occasion.
We offer tables with table linens, chateau chairs with white cushions, basic table cutlery, crockery and glassware. Set-up and take down of our decor/products is included and we handle post event clean up.
There is basic draping in the main reception hall and the 30 square meter wooden dance floor is more than sufficient, while you are also free to make use of the terrace and cocktail furniture.
Catering: Our kitchen, staff, and all amenities are at your disposal. Kindly enquire about our menus.
We offer a bespoke experience for children’s parties. Along with our standard entrance fee you have the option to select either Self-catering or Slipperfields caterers. Contact us for a brochure with details.
Standard entrance fee per child includes a tractor ride to the dairy, viewing of a milking session in the dairy parlour (subject to party time), feeding and petting of calves.
Party duration is 3 hours and there is an extra charge for parties booked on Sundays or Public Holidays.
Choose between our open aired Forest Chapel, Garden Setting or Enclosed Chapel for your ceremony. All include Wimbledon chairs; use of piano (in chapel only); red carpet; pulpit; confetti stands.
Our fully-enclosed terrace doubles as a waiting area. Sip on Cocktails and enjoy canapés while the bridal party take photos. The Terrace bar, cocktail and lounge furniture is at your disposal.
Our Reception venue includes tables, chairs, table settings, draping, dance floor and Bridal Room.
Optional extras: Wedding Planning service, Decor & Flower styling, Onsite Bridal Suite with next day breakfast for family and bridal party.
Our indoor reception areas can be reduced in size at your request.
We host staff or client engagement getaways, team-building gatherings, end-of-year functions, AGMs, launches, expos, road-shows and more.
Whatever your need, we provide professionalism and support to make your event run smoothly.
Our tailor-made conference package includes notepad, pen, water and mints. The itinerary includes two tea breaks and lunch with coffee and tea
throughout the conference. Use of terrace/waiting area and cocktail
furniture as well as use of all breakaway rooms.
Waitrons and Barmen included.

Whether it is tearing down the mountain on two wheels, or hitting the hills on foot, Slipperfields have a variety of trails to test different skill levels.
And if you plan your route well you could be back at the farm for a delicious Sunday lunch.
Schools and groups are welcome to experience a day in the life of our modern working dairy farm called Bergsig Boerdery. Learning the process that gets your milk from our pasture to your fridge and every step in between. Tour the farm on tractors and get to know the land and how to work it. It really is an educational experience like no other.

BIKE AND TRAIL RUNS

FOOD FAIRS AND FESTIVALS
Sunday Food Fair is on the first Sunday of Each Month. Expect food trucks galore selling delicious eats and treats as well as a selection of fresh, organic produce grown at Slipperfields.
